I agree with a lot of that stuff about country Jake. His solo version of Search 4 is sweet:

A little lyrical variation. Sitting at 102 show gap. What?

I think last nightís Mantis is my favorite of the year now. Love how much ground it covered and how patient it was. Felt like something from 2011.

This is my new favorite, fantastic all the way through but god damn is the first half just delightful

"What We Could Get" is a great, great studio song if you ask me . . .

Agree with this.  Live this song on the record.  Like Triangle Tear, though, they don't play it enough to master the live version...

14 show gap for Wappy. Longest since 6/28/14. If they donít play it next show, itíll be the longest gap since they brought the song back in 07.

It's so easy to hate on Jake songs like Looks, Little Gift, Hindsight etc. but I'm just browsing around on Wiki and noticed that Jake is listed as the sole writer on Search 4 and Booth Love. Both are top tier songs in my book.

His lyrics these days are just really corny.  I dig the Soundgarden vibe of Hindsight even if the lyrics are so, so corny.

Do we still not know what wax on wax off means?

No and I doubt we ever will. It wreaks of KB thinking heís being funny and then them acting like thereís meaning behind it.

My guess is a HoF style vinyl for the tour or something.  If that's the case not sure why they wouldn't announce prior or during to get more people at shows to then vote on the awesome shows they attended.  Seems like they could've worked a synergy thing there reminding folks a vinyl greatest hits will come out of the tour so they better keep the energy up in the audience.
