EDIT: I'm posting what I imagine will be my last batch of UM videos for the foreseeable future. I may snag a few videos over the 2 H'Ween shows in ATL and a few at the 2 Thanksgiving shows but during DC N1 S2, I realized how much I'd rather rage my face off at an UM show than worry about taking a quality video. Sure, I loved and will continue loving the ability to watch clips from a show I attended but I was enjoying dancing my ass off at the 9:30 Club, Steel Jam, and Brooklyn Bowl shows. I saw syfgr8tful taking some good videos over some of those shows so check out his page for Brooklyn Bowl and DC N2 videos. It's been fun but I'm retiring the camera for now.

i watch your summer camp UM vids all the time. awesome work. i just don't know how you can stand still with a video camera during some of these stretches!

It was tough, I'll tell you that much. But you know what, I can sacrifice some dancing time for head-bobbing time, if that means I have some sick video to watch later of the show, and something to share with people who weren't there.

^^^^ It's nice having soundboards to listen to after the show from umlive.net, but being able to watch Waful work with the band too, well that's just priceless.

And yes, I watch those S'Camp videos quite frequently. Quite the time and Waful was on point!

Lotus @ First Avenue - 11.12.10 videos. Very very fun show! Tip of the Tongue, Shimmer > Bubonic > Shimmer, and Jump Off were my personal highlights. But most everything else was pretty....pretty....pretty good! First Lotus show and I will go see them plenty more!

Haha good point man! Yes, I definitely get down and boogie plenty. While I love being able to listen to the UM Lives, being able to see Waful's work too makes it that much better. That's why I love taking videos and also so all the people who couldn't attend, can more fully experience the craziness. I try and limit myself to head-bobbing and such when I'm taking a video but sometimes it gets shaky, and that means I'm dancing more than I try to. Glad you liked them man!
