Yeah I didn't recall this at ALL until I just listened to the UMLive. The Slacker jam is super sexy and Bridgeless has a nice little jam as well. But still not sure how they snuck that Glory in there...

I think a lot of people missed it because 1) The songs are similar in style and 2) They segued right into the middle of Glory and then right back into the end of Haji. It was so seamless.

I wasn't wasted or fucked up and I totally missed it. Didn't realize they played it until I bought the UMLive.

I thought this was a very solid show and is not getting enough respect. I haven't heard Charlotte, CBus or Canopy, but both sets of this show had great amounts of improv with really good transitions and segues. First set highlights for me include Phil's and Smell the Mitten. The Linear was solid too. They definitely could have canned Forks and Morning Song IMO and focused on jamming out Phil's a bit longer and also extending N2F. The second set was a complete throwdown from start to finish. Bridgeless was a monster and had a great, steady jam which they peaked very nicely then went right into Haji. Slacker, of course, was wonderful with a couple nice, lengthy exploratory jams. Wappy was great too and I thoughtManeater was perfect. Nicholas Gerlach killed it on sax and really held his own. Overall, I thought this show rocked and have already given it multiple listens.

So after a full listen, somewhat as I expected, the show was not as good as I was thinking right after it was over.  I should note the sound was very good and this Soundboard is excellent.

The jams in Phils and Mitten were pretty good but barely even 4 star jams.  2x2 was standard but actually very solid and I really liked fancy as well but could have done without Forks and Morning song but such songs need to be played from time to time.

Second set the entire place was getting down and I was really in the mood to dance so it was about perfect for me.  Bridgless was very good and the Haj with the glory solo was really good especially with the lights.  In person the slacker jam just kept getting more and more dirty but its rather uneventful on tape especially the final section. Man Eater with sax was probably the best thing from the show especially the Jake and Sax trade off / jam where the sax went off on a solo.  I think the Wappy jam was probably the best improv of the night and its the one song I was most hoping for but still it was not a 5 star jam or anything.

Overall a very good show and I absolutely enjoyed the hell out of the second set in person but you wont find me going back to listen to this show much save for Man Eater.

I will still be seeking that top 10 caliber show in the Mitten this year.
