This Robot World jam is ( . )( . )

After repeated listens, I've decided that's my favorite part of the show.  A really nice space-jam with bounceback.  Phil's opener is second.

Maybe I need to relisten, but I thought it didn't really go anywhere.  It stays on that one theme for the majority of the jam and I just got bored with it after a certain point.  It eventually picked up for the last couple minutes but that was it.

Robot world could've had a couple minutes easily cut from the middle of the jam and finished great

but that's really nitpicking

You could tell they were brewing a bounceback.  They had part A and another segment with a riff (B).  They dropped the bass and drums and left the riff (they do this quite often where they'll have a a break in a few instruments to allow them time to get ready for the changeover) going.  Then they dove back in and layered A and the riff together.  It a lot harder the distinguish with untzier jams since the base was similarly heavy in A and B, but I'm pretty sure there was a change-up to A+B=AB.

Either way, I enjoyed this jam alot and I'm not one to love the untz yams.

I wasn't really interested in the jam at all until the 3rd (A+B) segment.  Haven't listened to it since the show, but I'm glad it's getting some good feedback.

I changed my mind.  Re-listened to Phil's again and it's just too good.  Classic undecided voter fail.  Phil's Farm FTW.

Plunger had a latin jam with a huge Farag solo on the congas. He was tearing shit up.

It's a repeat Stew.  It's the jazzy Jake-led one.

My first post..this was my 29th show (1st at First Ave oooooooh!)...rolled in right when the "I Keep Forgettin" jam started in Ex1. Probably one of the better jams in its entirety for the evening. Alex's House was solid as far as energy put towards a not-so-oft jammed song. Favorite was Red Tape although S'Camp the previous summer was big floppy titties in comparison. In the Kitchen jam was weird but nice to hear as an encore. My buddy managed to snag the setlist from Bayliss after the show even though the intention was for All Night Wrong tickets..damn. Love the first ave crowd for sure!

I would have to say. This show was great! {all night wrong was better}  The best part has to be the the up grades to First Ave. on the right side.  I Have been going to that venue for 20+ years.
