no you don't

http://lineup.bonnaroo.com/

it's pretty good, but not good enough for me to make the trek.  Y'all have fun.  I'll catch Radiohead and the Beach Boys elsewhere.

Man, no love for UM on that lineup order.  I mean, 9 rows down and below such heavyweights as Mac Miller, Childish Gambino, and Major Lazer?

Lineup looks incredible. I just don't know if it would be worth it with the mess of people it is going to bring. Recipe for a shit show. I haven't been to a festival on a scale like that, but I think I would be spending most of my time trying to get a good spot to see one band than actually seeing music. Not really sure how Bonnaroo works though, but I can't imagine it being a relaxing process, like scamp was.

Lineup looks better than last year, but still definitely not enough to get me there.  I think I missed the last one I would like with Pearl Jam or the Stevie Wonder and Jeff Beck year

I think this is one of the best festival lineups for the summer. Has Umph ever played two sets at Bonnaroo besides 2010 when they had a 25 or 30 minute second set?

No, the only bands I can think of that have played 2 real sets are WSP and Phish

During 2004, Umphrey's took a break and moe. played a mini set. Umphrey's then returned for what essentially was a second set.

i'll wait to see what time slot UM gets before I decide if I'm gonna go or not.

I think Waful may have had a say. Just sayin'.

Sounds promising. But as of late,  um gets crappy slots at the roo, I feel like theyre going to be up against an awesome night or late night act. Something like UM vs a first or second tier headliner. And speaking of that, UM get really disrespected in that lineup order. Im a realist about where they stand in the music scene as a whole, but there are some real terrible/flash in the pan bands above them that do not deserve that kind of love. The initial lineup looks good, but the schedule will determine whether or not I make the trek down to roo.

I think I will have to go.  I haven't been since 05 which was the first time I saw Umphrey's.  Phish, Radiohead, UM, White Denim, Flogging Molly, and Ben Folds Five might just be enough to get me there.

Serz no umphlove at roo im pumped for um and phish at the same fest but really afrocubism and tune yards get a higher billing on the line up who the hell are they.  I'll hold out till I see the schedule

in 2005 they did something similar, a 5 song acoustic show.

One Set
In the Kitchen, Walletsworth, Kabump, Wife Soup
Notes
XM Radio's Sonic Stage
with Brendan and Jake on acoustics

the banter is priceless, I'm pretty sure it's on archive

That set is from the Sonic Stage. They have played that stage four or so times. I think, though, 2004 was close to a two-setter.

This lineup is sick:  Umph, Phish, Radiohead, RHCP, Beach Boys, The Roots, Alice Cooper, and Flogging Molly to name a few that I would definitely check out.  Can't really see a reason to miss this.

The lineup is amazing, but since its the week right after summercamp its making this most likely not possible.  I said id never go back to bonnaroo after 04, but this would be the lineup to ALMOST do it.

Things terrible about bonnaroo:
waking up at 630 AM in a pool of sweat since its so hot already
it SOO HOT all day long with not much available for shade space at main stages
you might be walking a mile to even get to centeroo
theres sooooo many people there its gets ridiculous trying to get inbetween stages and in the actual festival grounds.

cant beat 3 nights of UM in a small festival where the weather is usually pretty decent

I've never been to bonnaroo before but that lineup is so sick I might just consider it. I've been dying to see some Phish but after all, I am going to Scamp for the first time.

Not sure what calendar you're looking at, but it's 2 weeks after

SC 5/24-27
Broo 6/7-10

I would love it if UM got a latenite slot opposite of Skrillex.  I can't think of a better way to weed out some of the awful people who will attend from taking up space in the UM tent.

My guess is that UM is 100% getting a late night set on the What stage. Going to be awesome

yea the line up is awesome. Umph, Phish, and Radiohead at the same festival rules. I saw Umph play there in 2010 and they obviously brought the heat, plus they played a three song second set on a smaller stage where they covered graceland with brock butler on the lap steel, super super cool. Although the line up is rad, Bonnaroo sucks. Way to crowded and way to hot. The tickets are over priced, if you get a bad camp site then you have a nice two mile walk to the stages, and in addition the process of getting through security and into the camping grounds is one that I will not put myself through again. Went to summer camp last year and had a way better time, plus Umph played 5 sets of music. My point is that if your attracted to bonnaroo because of phish and umphreys, as I am, I would suggest going to summer camp to see umph kill it and just wait to buy tickets for phish's summer tour at a venue near you.

Just look at it this way, the 3 bands you mentioned (Umph, Phish, Radiohead) would cost about $180 to see those 3 bands alone. Not to mention all the other great act that will be there.

I feel ya though, I think my first B'roo cost me $150 back in the day, tickets have almost double.  But so has gas and everything else.
