Start off playing an upward D chord with your left hand

EDIT:  Unless otherwise noted with "hold" each note in one hand corresponds to a note in the other hand, one for one.  The text kind of staggers them, I'm working on a way to fix it.

Then fall into this, still playing the upward D chord

================================================
RH: A G#F# E F#G# A G# F# E F# G# A G# F# E F# E F#(hold)  D(hold)
LH: D F# A  D F# A   D F# A   D F# A   D  F# A  D F# A D  F#  A  D F# A
================================================

play that twice, then playing an upward C chord with your left hand...

====================
RH: G E C F# D C E D C E D C
LH:  C E G C  E G C E G C E G
====================

Play that twice, then play the first part again

Next comes the ascending section, back playing an upward D with your left hand.  Hold each right hand note for the full three notes of your left hand.  You will end up one octave higher

         (up)   (down)   (up)   (down)   (up)   (down)  (up)
==========================================
RH: D        F#       E         G#      F#       A        G#      B
LH: D F# A D F# A D F# A D F# A D F# A D F# A D F# A D F# A ...
==========================================

   (down)  (up)   (down)   (up)      (up)        (up)
=========================================
RH: A        D         B        E         F#(----hold----)A(-----hold-----)
LH: D F# A D F# A D F# A D F# A D F# A D F# A D F# A D F# A
=========================================

Then play the beginning again with your right hand up an octave.

Next play this four times

=======================
RH: A        G#       F#(----hold----)
LH: D F# A D F# A D F# A D F# A
=======================

Move both left and right hand up to play this twice

===================
RH: D      C#     B(---hold---)
LH: G B D G B D G B D G B D
===================

Next play this again twice

=======================
RH: A        G#       F#(----hold----)
LH: D F# A D F# A D F# A D F# A
=======================

Then this once

===================
RH: G      F#     E(---hold---)
LH: C E G C E G C E G C E G
===================

And this once

======================
RH: F         E         D(----hold----)
LH: A# D F A# D F A# D F A# D F
======================

It gets tricky from there and I’m still working out some of the chords from the next section.  I will update when I figure it out.  If anyone has any input/corrections, please let me know.  Thanks.

awesome! thanks.  I can play the D chord part fine, but I'm having a real hard time switching it up to the C chord  :(

It took me a long time to get this song down.  I still fumble it at full speed sometimes.  Just take it slow and you'll get there.  The D>C transition is a little easier because of the held RH notes.  C>D is a little trickier.
