Fun show and definitely superior to the previous night. First set was similar in terms of amount and quality of improv, but the flow and song selection was much better IMO. There were some technical issues though including Jake having to switch guitars in the middle of the Much Obliged jam. It slowed it down briefly, but still a great funk jam. The Made to Measure was my highlight of the set and the best version I've seen. I didn't hear a -> segue, but I am pretty sure M2M was unfinished. Conduit had a solid rock jam that was fairly on par with the recent NYE version.
Girlfriend featured two jams; one in the middle section and one at the end. This was nice and surprising since it was taking the place of where improv would normally go in Phil's. Two good decent DBK jams, although I preferred the second one which was quite jazzy. The Dear Lord seemed to come about kind of randomly and sounded like it might have been started a little different than usual. Not sure if it was planned for at all as the stage setlist read Reso > JO > Thin Air, Mulche's after the DBK. Get in the Van was also cut after Conduit in the first set and Front Porch was slated as the encore.
Not sure if this show sold out but it was much more bearable than the night before.
