This show has the one and only time per year of Lenny written all over it! I still hate Live and Let Die and the Tinkle's flub in the first set at Boulder for robbing me of my first Lenny.....

> Ringo* *Brendan and Jake still in acoustic

Really wish I was in the north east right now. I've been really wanting them to bring back the acoustic segments like they used to do in 06 and early 07.

Kabump through Ringo was fucking sick!  Particularly the vamp/dance jam with acoustics.

Do you guys think Pony wrote the setlist tonight? Does that ever happen? I think there'll be ATN and a Muff or MuffII somewhere in the 2nd. God I wish I had a trust fund. Stupid teacher Mom and Pastor dad

First set is lookin nice.  Nice to see Liquid pop up (though that means they probably won't play it next week) and liking the acoustic action.

It's nice to see "segues," but most of UM's "segues" are stop/start on a dime kind of stuff.  I personally think that segues with UM are overrated.

First set is lookin nice.  Nice to see Liquid pop up (though that means they probably won't play it next week) and liking the acoustic action.

First thing I thought of as well.  In addition to Liquid, there are a few songs I really would like to hear next week like Blue Echo, VOP (which they always play in the NE so I'm thinking that will be out), Robot World, Sweetness, Made to Measure and of course WBG.  I'd also love to hear a DBK with two monster improv sections for old times sake.

It's nice to see "segues," but most of UM's "segues" are stop/start on a dime kind of stuff.  I personally think that segues with UM are overrated.

It's definitely not as many "->'s" as it is ">" when it comes to UM.  I've gotten used to it I suppose, I originally enjoyed the way they could shift direction on a dime within improv when I first started listening to them (I guess that's the ADD aspect that some folks don't enjoy) so when they do that with songs I happen to enjoy it as well.

edit.  HA!  There's the VOP...it's always played in the NE, as I said.

Definitely understand your point, I feel like we had talked about that on the ride home on Wednesday haha.  I actually do like the "ADD" style (which is why I love this band) but I don't mind standalone songs if they're done justice.  I guess I don't really mind the time down between songs, as it's usually less than a minute.  Gives me a breather from  :dj:
