So the Pig riff becoming very apparent (Jake, I think it's him on that riff, had been toying around with it for a while) at 6:12 is most definitely the main riff from the 5.30.09 Newport Music Hall Phil's lyrical stewart: http://www.archive.org/download/um2009-05-30.flac16/um2009-05-30d1t08_vbr.mp3.

Someone with ears better than mine, please double check this for me. The first August jam is a repeat of the first DBK jam from 9.1.11. It may not be an exact repeat but it is very similar. Thanks! I also think that after they break that jam down, the second jam which starts forming around 8:10 but is really fleshed out by the 9 minute mark, that sounds like a 2x2 jam to me. If anything, it's moreso a jam on the 2x2 intro.

EDIT: Cantina Band teases prior to 1348 as well. I'm not sure if they're worth noting though.

The DBK and August jams are definitely different.  I hear what you're saying in the second jam sounding 2x2-like.  I don't hear the Cantina Band teases either though, are you talking about before the first or second half of 1348?

Thanks Rick. To my ears, the second portion of the first DBK jam and that first jam in August sound similar. I'm at work so I can't find times but when I can, I'll post them so you can see what I'm talking about. As to the Cantina Band teases, they are just before the start of the 1348 intro and carryover as the drums are kicking in on the intro. I think Jake and BB both tease it but as I said, I'm not sure it's worth noting.

I just saw on the UM.com setlist that there are Red Tape and Life During Wartime teases noted in the All In Time jam. I was talking to Logan (Slimknows) about that during setbreak because I thought the second jam in AIT was incredibly similar to the 12.1.07 Fir jam leading into the crazy finish. It didn't really feel like a Life During Wartime jam but it was very similar. I'm listening back now to see where these Red Tape teases are.....

I have listened to 9/2 and 9/3 multiple times since the shows, and I think 9/3 was a better show. Wouldn't even be a question if they flipped Day Nurse and August to give the first set a better flow. And if they let 1348 breathe a little more. Couldn't agree more with this:

These two shows were awesome! I had a blast raging both nights on the balcony rail! Two great nights in D.C  :usa:
