There's a website called kickstarter.com that allows you to raise funds but it doesn't get taken out of the donaters account until after a certain goal is reached.

So that's the best way to do this IMO, then no one gets screwed.

It is absolutely real. KB responded to my email. 200 is the upper limit of "intimate" for the event.
