2008 fender highway one strat->

BOSS comp/sustain->
BBE Green Screamer->
BOSS phase shifter->
Visual Sound H2O Chorus/Delay->

Fender Acoustasonic Amp

I also have a taylor 210e which plays great out of that Acoustasonic. However, I am in serious need of a new amp to go along with my electric setup. I'm looking for a solid combo for a reasonable price. any suggestions?

McConnell Custom WM model is being built as we speak with Max Kauffman designed inlay...

would LOVE to see pics of this once it's complete

have no fear, it will be fully documented... Jordan McConnell is the guy that built the customs for The Avett Brothers, meaning: all signs point to EPCOT.

i was gonna say having a MK inlay = epcot

1st under construction pic of the guitar... Kauffman inlay is finished

Man that art just looks so cool Will. Is it a spruce top then? Can't wait to see what that looks like when it's finished.

(l to r): Skjold ProV5, Ibanez TR modified with EMGs and hipshot extender (my first bass), Yamaha classical, Fender Jazz fretless, Washburn Dreadnought, Ibanez acoustic.
I mostly play the Skjold through a Zoom B9.1ut into a Carvin BRX212.

I also plunk on this occasionally.

I played on a Warwick fretless bass yesterday. Possibly the best bass I've played.

I'm mainly a guitar player, but play a tiny bit of bass and most other instruments.  I planned on building out a nice Bass rig eventually, and I've got the amp, just need to save the scratch for the bass guitar... all in time.  Most of that money meant for the bass guitar ended up going to more recording gear to max out my studio capabilities.  I had been recording 12 channels at once for about a year, and then got the 2nd interface to up it to 20 channels at once, and it took about 2 months of adjusting settings and trying different PCI firewire cards before finding one that worked well with Windows 7 64b.  But i've been recording cleanly with no pops/crackles for 2 weeks straight since adding in a 2nd TI-chipset firewire card.  So far so good....

Guitars:
2004 PRS Custom 24 Vintage Yellow Quilt/10-top
2007 PRS Hollowbody II in Blue Matteo w/ Peizo Double-10 top
2009 PRS 305 in Violin Amber Sunburst (a pre-production model that has a matching headstock and neck)
1999 Washburn Dimebag Daryl 333
2007 G&L Legacy in Lake Placid Blue
1980s Bently acoustic - I rebuilt and loved it for two years. then a buddy knocked it over, broke the neck in half. repaired, and plays like shit.. about to destroy it...
Pre 1950 classical acoustic - just a carved in serial number, but I can't find any info on it.  I've had it for 13 years now, and got it from a guy that was in his 80s and couldn't play anymore, and he had it for decades.

Bass:
Danelectro bass

Guitar Amps:
Mesa Lonestar 1x12
Fender Twin 65' 2x12
Peavey Bandit 112

Bass Amp:
GK Fusion 550 Head
GK Neo 4x10 Cab

Pedals:
Morley Bad Horsie II wah >
Electro Harmonix HOG (Harmonic Octave Generator) >
Boss Tuner ->
Boss CS3 compressor (need to get something different because i've had it for 7 years and well, NEVER use it) >
Maxon OD-9 tube screamer ->
Keeley Modded Boss Blues Driver ->
Boss MT-2 Metal Zone ->
Boss Phase Shifter ->
Boss DD-6 delay (which splits the signal and goes to the Mesa and Fender amps, and gives it a nice panning/delay effect)

Percussion:
Pearl Forum 5-piece kit (found next to a dumpster, in pristine condition, with all hardware and stands. Best Ground-score ever)
2 cowbells and a woodblock
Treeworks MultiTree Chime set with Triangle and bell

PA/Recording Gear:
Yamaha EMX 5000-20 channel mixer/ 1000w power amp
4 Yamaha Club S115 speakers/monitors
5 Shure Beta 58 vox mics
5 Shure Beta 57 instrument mics
Shure DMK-57-72 Drum mic kit

Audio Interfaces:
Echo Audio AudioFire12
Echo Audio AudioFire8

Computer/Software:
Core i7, 12GB ram, Win7 64b.
Tracktion recording software

Let me first say how fucking jealous i am of all you bastards with your PRS's and G&L's...
my gear:

Epiphone Les Paul Standard (shitty brand maybe, but this is my main electric and it sounds just as good as a Gibson and feels even better)
Alvarez RD20 (acoustic)

my amp is a Fender Supersonic...absolutely love it, it's all i need for gigging right now.

Pedals:
Bad Horsie 2
Pigtronix Mothership Analog Synth
Boss DD-6
Boss Ph-3

most used effects are definitely my delay and wah

Trumpet
Bach Stradivarius 43
Bach 3C mouthpiece
Yamaha A4? mouthpiece
Harmon mute
Bach straight mute
Bach cup mute
plunger mute

Bass
Dean Edge
Peavey Microbass amp
Boss octave pedal
Boss distortion

You like your strad?  When I was looking for a horn a few years ago all my peers were getting them but I couldn't find one that I liked and ended up falling for a Yamaha.  Been using a 3C mouthpiece most of playing.

It's pretty nice. It's a good all-around horn. What style(s) do you play? As far as mouthpieces, if you want to really step it up, get a Schilke. The company just came to the NIU school of music and did a clinic for the trumpet studio. They are very good mouthpieces. On the other hand, I've heard that if you're a truly good player, it doesn't matter what mouthpiece you play on. Arturo Sandoval (I believe it's him) has been playing a 3C all his life. This trumpet player I know met him, and he (Arturo) slurred from a triple pedal C to a triple high C. On a good day I can play an E above the staff...

Yeah, that was him.  I met him at Dartmouth a few years ago after a show and that was how he ended the show, with a run from triple pedal to triple C.  Blew my mind.  I'm playing a little bit of everything.  I'm in the Wind Ensemble, Orch, Jazz Band (big band and combo) and I love playing in Pit Orchestras whenever I can

That's awesome. Yeah I like doing a bit of everything too.

Btw, the NIU Jazz Ensemble is touring right now, which is the best jazz group at the school. Thursday they come back to NIU to play a show with Wycliffe Gordon. If you don't know Wycliffe, he is the best jazz trombonist in the world.

I got to play a pediatric cancer benefit right before his set in 2007. Dude is funnier than hell. And, yes, he throws the fuck down. Go see him.

Pigtronix Mothership Analog Synth

How do you like the Pigtronix? I had one of their guys contact me today about trading my Mark 1 for one of their Fullboar 1x12 combos. I've heard a lot about the pedals, but not much on the amp other than its reverse compression tube being awesome.
