I'm curious, how would you propose they split up Tribute/how would the song itself end? End on improv?  Also how would jamming out of Snucka 3 work?
Not criticizing, I'm really just curious.  Looks like a fun one

Tribute could easily be split up. During the breakdown prior to to the funk section would be a good place or out of Joel's solo. I had originally wantes to do Tribute > Bridgeless (breakdown into Bridge intro) > Tribute funk > end Bridgeless. And just a nasty peaking jam to end with improv, a la 9.27.06 Reso opener.

Yeah Search 4 is drop D, I'm kind of wondering if they've done that segue before.  I know they've sandwiched End of the Road (also in drop D) in between WBG.

1st set: intro jazz odyssey$ > utopian fir > hurt bird bath > blue echo > utopian fir > hurt bird bath

2nd set: much obliged > blue echo > 2x2, tribute to the spinal shaft > phil's farm, paradise city*

encore (25 mins long): pay the snucka > the triple wide > pay the snucka

$ same intro as 5-28-11
*guns n roses, 1st time played in full

there would be tons of improv in this show...mostly the dance-party/funky shit, but plenty of rock too.

Prowler > Haji > Senor Mouse

That has some serious potential right there.  As an encore, or possibly a set opener?

Not if it had improv, or after that killer DBK who cares if they just did a 3 minute transitional piece

I'm curious, how would you propose they split up Tribute/how would the song itself end? End on improv?  Also how would jamming out of Snucka 3 work?
Not criticizing, I'm really just curious.  Looks like a fun one
For tribute, theyd play the first section and jam, and then before the 2nd half of the song begins (the funky part) theyd segue into Wappy, rather than play the funk portion. To me, the Linear would be easy to segue in and out of, so theyd segue out of the end of linear (unfinished?) right into the funky dance party second half of Tribute, and then end tribute the same way they do the majority of the time with that big ol funk party.

Jamming outta snucka 3 would be somewhat atypical. Instead of Jake just blistering the guitar, itd be Joel and Jake trading riffs (similar to the snucka III encore from the Rave a few years ago). So rather than that peaking there and having that be the end. Jake and/or joel leads em into N2Freprise with some synth'd out stuff. Something like heavy aggressive snucka III > synth/moog/ambient/distortion > N2Freprise.

If I had a better musical vocabulary Id be able to articulate that better.

transitional piece would imply a transition to and from something. i would love to hear the song stewed out live. i have a feeling it would be kris going nuts...but as a set closer seems a bit anticlimactic. but this just looks wierd on paper to me.

Does anyone else think Proph Now would be really interesting to hear with kris playin an e drum? I think with like some heavy/industrial effect he could make that song into something wild.
