Sounds like Chromeo and Escort

Had to check out Escort cuz I've never heard of them and they are pretty cool! Kinda got the same vibe as Turkuaz almost.

The Doom Flamingo track is just alright for sure. It might be just me, but I feel like the whole Synthwave/Vaporwave stuff is already on its way out so it's interesting to see them starting a project now. Either way, i'll still check out whatever they have coming out.

Hadn't heard of Escort either, I'll check them out.

I don't know if the electro pop stuff is on its way out, but it does lack much diversity so it becomes pretty stale quickly. Whatevs, good to dance to before that happens.

UM has teased that a few times, but to be fair Escort got the song from this dude...not sure if Dillinger was the 1st, but Escort def wasn’t. Escort is great though. They’re a nu disco or post disco band from Brooklyn, IIRC.

How is Doom Flamingo live?

I could see this sound being pretty fun, but I could also see it being kind of boring

They were a lot of fun in Charleston. Definitely exceeded my expectations, fun dance yams to be had all night.

I don't really like the vocals but I love the John Carpenter vibe to the music.

I got a bunch of nice slim fit slacks from eddie bauer that will custom hem them to the 1/4" and also any waist size for <$50 a piece. Definitely would recommend.
