These show infographics...
« on: March 19, 2016, 11:52:39 AM »

I like them a lot.  Whoever does them doesn't know how to spell onomatopoeia, but it's whatever.

I wonder if whatever intern is churning these out has plans to do some older shows?  I've been using these for album art on all the shows, and would love to do that for older shows as well.

Big fan of these, especially the random little facts about songs and statistics

Yea, it's a cool new feature. Has me wondering how they mine the data to come up with some of those factoids.

From the bottom of the recap page: "Thanks to Christian DeKnock for the graphics." Looks like his instagram is https://www.instagram.com/cdeknock/. His email address and website is listed there as well.

ya these were a great idea.

maybe UM.com/Allthings should do a "monthly" or "weekly" gem where they do this for an older show. this show is then "spot lighted" on umlive.net with maybe some Farag banter about it

I really enjoy reading these as well, though a minor criticism I have would be to keep the "Did You Know" information particular to the show being recapped instead of advertising a future event.  For example, 3.12's listing that a Real to Reel is being announced in Chicago or 3.11's listing that there are tickets are still available for umbowl.  Sure, I may not know of a future event but I would rather some interesting tidbits about the show being featured.
