St. Andrews Hall is the hottest venue ever.  Anyone that was at the 6/6-7/08 show(s) would know this.

Was that the one that used to be a church? I was only at that venue once (Belew tour0) and it was hotAF. I don't ever remember being that hot inside a show. You could smell all of the old school wood heating up in that joint.   (waits for old school wood jokes)

Belew tour was in Pontiac Michigan at Clutch Cargos.

Listening to this show tonight....the improv in the first set is top notch.  The monstrous back-to-back combo of 2x2 and JaJunk is really fantastic.  I know the JaJunk has the outrageous peak, but I will take BB's more soulful 2x2 solo and the the more haunting 2x2 jam.  This show is a really nice representation of the band's 2010 direction.

I've enjoyed that 2x2 jam a number of times on tape since the show but wasn't the biggest fan at the time.  Nice ambient feel to start out and progresses to harder groove.  Well developed little ditty.

Firm believer that 12-30-09 set an unfair standard of what could be possible w/said tune.  At this show I was too focused on how it didn't quite get to the aforementioned levels (esp being 12-30 again), but since then I have grown to love it for what it IS & not focus on what it's not.

This set is the one i remember the least live and like the most on tape. This might very well be my favorite 2x2 as well. Deviated from the standard composition just enough to sound awesome before the epic climax. But again... holy JAJUNK!!

This JaJunk is absolutely massive.  I had my iPod on shuffle today and it came on and I was just grinning ear to ear when they were peaking it hard over and over.  I know Bayliss comes in a little early, but can you blame him for thinking they couldn't keep going?  I guess sometimes even the band members underestimate how amazing they are

People may ridicule me for this but I really enjoyed the Gulf Stream that night... having traveled from Atlanta with all my best friends to see my favorite band the "All our friends are here" really hit home for me  ;D!
I have said this multiple times but Roundabout is still my favorite cover i've seen!

This show was fun but the lack of improv in 2nd set killed it for me.  The jams in Bottom 1/2, 2x2, and JaJunk were legit, after that it was just kind of standard.
